#MotoGP – Spanish Power at the Italian Grand Prix

The Spanish motorcycling has made history today at the Italian Grand Prix. Seven Spanish riders have managed to be in the front row of the grid in MotoGP and have achieved a hat-trick with Pedrosa, Lorenzo and Barbera in the top three positions.

This is a unique result in the history of Spanish motorcycling proving again that it is in excellent shape.

MotoGP qualifying has been dominated by Pedrosa, Lorenzo and Barbera, who has managed to be  in the  front row with a non official Ducati.

In Moto2 Pol Espagaró, who suffered a sharp fall in the free practice, has managed to beat the lap record in the qualifying session and passed to Marc Marquez by a difference of only 69 milliseconds.

In Moto3, Maverick Viñales made an amazing lap time. It was the only driver to “fly” below 1’58 and has improved the pole position record obtained by a 125cc motorcycle at Mugello. Alex Rins, which debuts this season in the World Championship, finished in third place taking part in this historic result of the Spanish Motorcycling.
